Terry: I know you've been bending over backwards for him, but that's sort of showing off.
Ann: What are you talking about?
Terry: You know what I'm getting at. You're trying to belittle others.
Ann: So, what's wrong with my efforts to get ahead? I don't want to be a person like you, without any sense of purpose!
Terry: I have no idea what you mean — none whatsoever!
Ann: Are you just going to sit there in your job, hidden behind others? Aren’t you going to do anything?
Terry: I've already gone above and beyond the call of duty. Any more would mean I'm just a show-off.
Ann: You've certainly got an odd view of how to get ahead. Come on, be brave. Get a move on it!
Terry: Why are you pushing me? There are plenty of ways to make a good impression besides being aggressive.
Ann: Fine. I'm off to the pizza place forlunch. Are youb staying or going?
Terry: Hey, I'm not working for you! Where'd you pick that idea up?

* Give a short oral presentation on any of the four tips you have learned: go the extra mile; show interest; offer respect; be a team player. The following text serves as an example.
Go the Extra Mile
Wherever you go, there is no substitute for hard work. As a rule, nobody can succeed without hard work. Almost every winner has years of hard work behind him or her.
Take a close look at hard work and you will find it contains extra special effort. So go the extra mile if you want to be successful. Go above and beyond what's expected if you wish to stand out from others.
Don't call this injustice (不公正). It's kind of investment in your career. This is especially true when you start at an entry-level position. You'll be rewarded. That's a promise.
