Language and culture

Coming of age is the age at which a child is legally an adult, but it also means that the child behaves like an adult and enjoys adult pleasures and tastes. In some religions, such as Christianity, Buddhism, Islam and Judaism, coming of age is marked with a formal ritual.

Fish and chips is a piece of fish that is covered in batter and fried in oil and served with chips. It is a very popular food in Britain and often bought from a restaurant to take home.
