示例一：

 本文对求解二维自由面重力流提出了一种新的数值方法。(A new method is developed for sth.) 理论研究结果和计算表明，该方法收敛性好，收敛速度快，运算量小。在利用Muskhelishvili学派数学理论的基础上(Based on the theory of sth.)，再通过变换(and by substitution), 得到了物理平面上的非奇异边界积分方程(equation in sth was obtained)。积分方程的求解是利用迭代方法(was solved by a method)。(in which) 其中边界上流线的长度是自变量，边界上的速度势是所求的函数，从而(In this way)，克服了用解析函数理论研究该类问题时固壁边界未知待求等困难(Solving the unknown fixed-wall boundary was avoided in applying sth into this kind of problem)。

 Abstract: A number of examples are presented to discuss the common errors and structures which are not idiomatic in English abstracts written by some of the Chinese scientific and technological workers．In addition，the characteristics are summarized of English abstracts for scientific papers, and some common methods are described of writing and translating English abstracts for scientific papers.
