a) Commodities shipped by air usually have high values per unit or are time-sensitive（时间敏感;时效性;有时间性）.

b) Air cargo rates(空运货物的运价,运费率)are based on the value of service or the cost of service.A set of guidelines can be referred to The Air Cargo Tariff(TACT）空运货物运价表.

c) The Air Waybill (AWB)  serves as an evidence of contract（合同的证明） and receipt（收据） between the shipper and the carrier.

d) Consolidation(集拼运输) is the practice of combining diverse（多种的） cargoes into single shipments, to achieve substantial(大量的) savings on freight costs.
