When you do something wrong or fail to do something necessary, you can save yourself a lot of trouble by apologizing irst before someone complains to you. When you apologize, sometimes you want to offer an excuse or reason. The excuse is normally given immediately after the apology. It is also important to make sure how to respond properly when someone apologizes to you. This unit focuses on apologies, and its aim is to help you know how to make and respond to apologies.
