Part I: Warming-up exercises
Invite Ss to give a 2-min speech on what issues should be covered in a cross- cultural training course.
Design: The whole class is divided into two groups. They stand in two queues and give a speech facing the partner. Teacher controls the time by using on-line timer.
Part II: Cultural advice
1. Work in pairs. Student A reads the articles about Italian and United Arab Emirates culture. Student B reads the Brazilian and Korean Culture. After reading, they shall share two most interesting points about each country and tell the partner.
2. Finish the exercises as quickly as they can.
3. Teacher explains some language points and give some examples to stimulate students' interest.
