a) A supply chain is a system of organizations(组织), people（人员）, activities（活动）, information（信息） and resources (资源)involved in moving a productor service from suppliers to customers.

b) Supply chain management（供应链管理） is comprised of （由…组成）five stages: plan, develop, make, deliver and return.

c) The common methods in supply  chain management  are Quick Response（QR）快速反应, Efficient ConsumerResponse(ECR)高效的客户反应, Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP)企业资源计划, and  Just in Time(JIT)准时制, etc.

d) Logistics is the management of the flow of resources between the point of origin and the point of consumption (消费) in order to meet some requirements.

e) Logistical work involves 1.order processing（订单处理）,2. inventory（库存）,3. transportation（运输）, 4.warehousing（仓储）,materials handling （物料加工）and packaging（包装）, as well as 5. facility network design（设施网络设计）.
