1. Simba 辛巴

Simba means "lion" in Swahili, son of the great King Mufasa and the official heir to the throne. Simba is impish, noisy and fearless, running around with his best friend Nala all day long! However, the death of his father once made him lose his way, and he was expelled from his land and lived with Timon and Pumbaa. It was not until the reappearance of Nala and the guidance of his father and Rafiki that the young prince realized his due responsibility and returned to the kingdom to challenge his uncle Scar.
2. Mufasa木法沙

Mufasa is Simba's dad, and the king of the Pride Lands. Strong,smart and brave, he is a true leader with the deepest understanding of “the cycle of life”. He ruled the Pride Lands with love and he loved his family deeply. But he never thought his brother Scar would get the throne by hook. After his death he became the patron saint of the Pride Lands and gave Simba new courage when he needed help most.
3. Sarabi 沙拉碧

Sarabi means "mirage" in Swahili. She's Mufasa's wife and Simba's mother. She loves Simba very much. Mufasa's sudden death and Simba's departure from home were a great blow to her.When Scar has control of the Pride Lands, she has to face a harsh life. But she was not defeated, and in standing up to Scar,she showed as much leadership and steady wisdom as Mufasa.
4. Scar 刀疤

Scar is Mufasa’s younger brother and Simba’s uncle who plots to overthrow his brother's rule. He designed to kill his brother Mufasa, and framed in the unwitting Simba in order to get control of the throne. But he never thought that one day Simba would come back.
5. Nala 娜娜

Nala is young Simba's playmate and stayed with him all day,taking risks. Her favorite hobby is throwing Simba to the ground in the fight game. Mufasa's death and Scar's lies had led her to believe Simba was dead. And when she stumbled upon her infant companion in the forest, she was already a beauty with russet smooth hair. She tries her best to persuade Simba to return to the kingdom to fight Scar's godless rule and was the first to help Simba when he needed it. Their friendship matures into deep love.
6. Timon 丁满

Timon is a lively, humorous little meerkat who claims to be handsome and smart.He chanced upon Simba who had been driven out of the kingdom.After his clever brain thinking he decided to leave the little lion for him and Pumbaa as a bodyguard. Under his and Pumbaa 's "Hakuna Matata"teachings, Simba came to accept their problem-free philosophy of life - no worries.But apart from the chatter, he is actually a loyal friend.
7. Pumbaa 彭彭

Pumbaa means"a bsentminded, careless" in Swahili. He's Timon's partner and a simple-minded African warthog.He has a generous heart and a warm personality, but he smells terrible.As a slow thinker, he thought even a predator like Simba could be his friend.He is also the first to show up when Simba is in need.He is a true friend.
8. Zazu 沙祖

Zazu is a serious,somewhat rigid hornbill, but he is very capable, and has a strong sense of pride and glory. He is the manager of daily affairs of the kingdom and Mufasa's right hand man. He has to watch over the mischievous youngsters, Simba and Nala.
9. Rafiki 拉飞奇

Rafiki means "friend" in Swahili.He is the mage of the kingdom, the mysterious old baboon who mysteriously appears and disappears every time.He foretells the future in his baobab tree and talks to the Kings of the past who are on the stars.And whenever the Simba family is in trouble, he is there in time to give them enlightening advice. He helps Simba get his life back on track.
10.Hyenas 土狼

These laughing hyenas haunt about the elephant graveyard. They are Scar's stooges. They helped him with his plot to kill the King Mufasa and were ordered to kill Simba,but to no avail. Shenzi means "barbarous, savage" in Swahili. Shenziis the female, and also takes the role of "leader." Banzai is the male and also known as "cactus butt." Ed is the wackiest of the hyenas.
