Student financial aid

   In the US,student financial aid refers to the funding that is intended to help students pay education expenses including tuition and fees,room and board,books and supplies,etc.for education at a college,university,or private school.In many countries,general governmental funding for public education is not called financial aid. Financial aid refers to awards, grants,or loans to specific individual students.A scholarship is sometimes used as a synonym for a financial aid award or grant;scholarships do not need to be paid back by the recipient.Student loans,which are also components of financial aid packages,may come from a variety of government or private-sector sources such as banks.Student loans charge interest and be paid back once the student recipient graduates from college.
