GeorgeStephanopoulos: A troubling newtrend involving Botox. It’s been used by so many as a    for premature aging and wrinkles, but nowyou’re starting to see 20-year-olds use it too. It’s raising a lot of questionsabout safety and   2  , here’s ABC’s LinseyDavis.

Linsey Davis: Not a crease norwrinkle could be found on Claribel Vega’s 23 year-old forehead and she’s countingon Botox to keep it that way.

Linsey Davis: How do you know that the Botox is actually helpingyou to   3  ?

Claribel Vega: Well, I have one or twowrinkles starting to come out like on my forehead, but after the Botox, Ididn’t see it at all.

Linsey Davis: It all startedout as treatment for her migraines but now --

Linsey Davis: Is it something that you would continue to do tocontinue to look younger?

Claribel Vega: Oh, yeah, I will.I will continue doing (it).

Linsey Davis: Battling the   4   with Botox is increasingly becoming a trend forwomen in their 20s, even teens.

Dr. Jeanine Downie: I had a lot of27- and 28-year-olds, especially ex-tanners that smoke, that I do pretty consistentlyevery three to four months.

Linsey Davis: But of the 6.1million Botox Type-A injections   5   in 2012, almost100,000 of them were patients in their 20s, a 10% increase in that age groupfrom the previous year.

Dr. Jeanine Downie: No problems with that?

Linsey Davis: Dermatologist JanineDownie says her   6   is to inject patients over 30, but she admits,in many cases, the younger you start, the younger looking you’ll stay.

Dr. Jeanine Downie: I started to do Botox  7  . If you don’tcrease the envelope, you’ll never get the line. You’ll never have the crack orthe crease.

Linsey Davis: “Good MorningAmerica” tracked the crease obsession back in 2010   8   teen Filipina internet singing sensation Charicerevealed she got Botox at the age of 18, tens of thousands of teens followedsuit.

Charice Pempengco: It is like getting my hair cut. It makes me feelbetter.

LinseyDavis: The   9   is causing some dermatologists to suffer fromfrown lines, the president of the British Association of Plastic Surgeons sayshe won’t give Botox to women under 30.
