1. Review the Key Points 

Task 1：Group Work—do the summary of the key points in each part of Chapter 7

Task 2 :  Individual Thinking: (1) How do you define "Utopias"? (2) What should ecovillage community be like? (3) what is the  biosystem challenge when we live in an ecologically sound manner? (4) How do you understand sustainability from the perspective of production and consumption ? (5) How do you describe ideal  urban area from sustainable development perspective?

2. Group Discussion

(1)  In your view, what is the value of utopian thinking to sustainable development?

(2)  Does each separate worldview imply a specific vision of the future?

(3) In what ways do sustainable architecture, planning and design benefit from utopian thinking?

(4) Are ecovillages practical utopias?
