第七章 海上运输货物保险理赔

                                                           第一节 海上运输货物保险的索赔

一、索赔概述

    发生保险事故后，被保险人要求保险人支付保险赔偿金的行为。

    索赔原因：

    1. 运输工具在途中遭遇意外事故，导致货物损失。

    2. 货物运抵目的港，被保险人提货时发现货物损失。

二、索赔方式

  （一）直接索赔

 1．保险责任索赔(如图)

(二)间接索赔

被保险人委托其经纪人以书面形式向保险人或其代理人提出索赔。(如图)

三、索赔程序

   （一）损失通知

   （二）向第三者责任方索赔

   （三）合理施救

     办妥有关索赔手续后，等待保险人最后审定责任，领取赔款

Enclosure 2:  Statement of claim for the insurer

We refer to a shipment of 500 Cartoon shirts transported to Australia, which is shipped on board the vessel “Blue Sky”.

 From the enclosed documents, you’ll note that the goods is suffered the damage and / or shortage. According to the condition of insurance, you, as the underwriter, should be held responsible for the damage to and / or loss of the goods.

    Here we enclose the supporting documents for your reference as follows:
