Pre-reading Activities:


Now, look over your list and consider which ONE of those identities seem to be most influenced by or associated with “your culture.” This could be an identity that you feel most comfortable with, one that has caused prejudice against you, or one that you are most proud of.

Please select the MOST influential or salient of your cultural identities to discuss with your group members. It might help you better understand its importance if you write a few sentences to explain why you want others to know this about you.

Find out the answers to the following questions:

He has witnessed a diversity of burgeoning millennial cultures. After watching, discuss with your peers about charactersitics of Chinese millennials according to this TED talk.
