Effective writing 1: dos & don'ts

From this week, we are going to learn about academic writing from a video course given by a professional writing lecturer. She is an associated professor at Standfford University. To get to know more about her professional background, please check the teacher's introduction.

After getting to know about the lecturer, you will start to learn one of the two lectures on effective writing. While watching, please take notes of the key points and questions you may have. You prabably need to watch it multiple times before grasping the contents. If you find some places hard to understand, go check the script attached below the video clip.
