Oneof the most interesting places I have visited is the Oriental Pearl TV Tower(东方明珠广播电视塔). As you can see, it is located at the tip of Lujiazui in Pudong NewArea by the side of Huangpu River, opposite the Bund, and it is a distinctlandmark in the area. Its construction began in 1991, and the tower wascompleted in 1994. It’s 468m high. The Oriental PearlTV Tower belongs to the World Federation of Great Towers.

       The tower has fifteen observatorylevels. The highest (known as the Space Module) is at 350m. The lower levelsare at 263m (Sightseeing Floor) and at 90m (Space City). There is a revolvingrestaurant at the 267m level. The project also contains exhibition facilities,restaurants and a shopping mall. There is also a 20-room hotel called the SpaceHotel between the two large spheres. The upper observation platform has anoutside area with a glass floor. If the weather is clear, you can overlook themodern city and beautiful environment. It is really an interesting andunforgettable experience.
