Liz:You'realready back from New York, Joan. How was it?

Joan:Itwas just great.

Liz:Was it too crowded, busy, and nerve-racking?

Joan:Well, there were many people in the streets, even at night, and in the midtowneveryone seemed to be rushing somewhere.

Liz:What did you see?

Joan:We visited the Statue of Liberty, the South Street Seaport Museum, theMetropolitan Museum of Art, and the Cloisters.

Liz:Didyou go up the Empire State Building?

Joan:No, we planned to, but we couldn’t get around to doing that.

Liz:What did you like best?

Joan:Everything was wonderful but the best fun was Washington Square.

Liz:Well,you really had a wonderful trip.
