To do research and use expressions learned in the unit to make a short spoken presentation.

Unit 6
1. Introduce Dragon Boat Festival (including the following aspects such as the origin, symbols, celebration customs, and significance)
2. Compare Chinese Double Seventh Day and western St. Valentine’s Day (mention at least the following aspects such as the origin, celebration customs, and significance)
3. Introduce the Chinese wedding procedures and customs in general. (You can take your hometown customs as an example).
4. Introduce the western wedding procedures and customs in general. (You can give a specific example).
5. Wedding customs of an ethnic minority in China or a foreign culture. (Refer to P188 for specific requirements)
要求:
1) 负责该单元演讲的几位学生,抽签选择其中一个题目进行演讲,题目可以根据自己的演讲内容适当修改,但是不能换题。不可演讲同一个题目。
2)演讲内容要包含题目后面括号里的内容,但不限于那些方面。
3)每个演讲的同学一定要把时间控制在5分钟之内,不可超时。但是尽量要讲的有深度,不可太浅显。同学们可以根据自己的情况,酌情拓展。
4)上学期我们的演讲主要侧重锻炼大家对演讲的基本认识,掌握演讲的基本要求,如PPT制作、演讲内容的结构、演讲时的仪态表情等。在此基础上,本学期的演讲侧重锻炼大家正确合理地运用语言,表达逻辑清晰,所以大家在准备演讲时,要着重注意如何写自己的演讲稿。可以搜集相关英文资料,辅助自己写演讲稿。
