Step 1: Warming up
Use a famous proverb “God helps those who helpthemselves” to introduce the definition and structure of restrictive relative clauses and two important concepts: antecedent and relative pronouns.
Step 2:Presentation
Use different sentences to present the use of different relative pronouns,including which, that, who, whom and whose. Students will be able to understand how to use different relative pronouns according to different antecedents and functions of relative pronouns.

Step 3:Practice
Show students a photo of the school and ask them to create sentences with restrictive relative clauses to describe theirschool and school life.

I like my school which/that allowsstudents to develop their interests freely.
