Give a Presentation about the Importance of Space Explorations


Consider what you have learned in this unit, and then develop a presentation about the importance of space exploration. Please follow the steps and give your presentation to the class.

 

Step 1 Find a clue

Work in a group. You may ask your 2-3 partners the questions in the chart. Note down your and your partners' answers.


Step 2 Organize your ideas

Organize your notes, then have a conversation with your partners to find out more details if necessary. List the topic and main supporting ideas for your presentation.

      Topic sentence: Space exploration is vital to humanity.

      Supporting idea1: Space exploration has led to the development of various technologies that

 have improved our lives.

Supporting idea 2: Space exploration may allow us to colonize other planets if something happened to our Earth.

Supporting idea 3: Space exploration could provide us with unlimited supplies of precious resources.

      Conclusion: Despitethe many problems that need our attention here on Earth, continuing to fund space exploration is absolutely necessary
