What we wish----- A letter to the child in college from the father

1.      Fast-reading.Read the text quickly: the first and the last paragraph+the beginning sentenceof each paragraph.

2.      Read the words in the list aloud. If you are not sure about your pronunciation, please read after the tape.

3.      Read the text twice more and sum up the main idea: what is this article about? What details do you notice?      Try to answer these questions with the book closed.

4. Write down answers to questions following the text.

5. Pay special attention to the following sentences ant try to put them into Chinese

1) You are about to participate in the next leg of your journey through life.

2)There has been no greater joy than watching you arrive at this moment.
