比较结构是翻译中较为复杂的问题，英语的比较句型有原级、比较级、最高级三种比较形式。比较结构翻译的重难点在于找出比较对象、理解比较关系。

  1. 比较级含有三种比较关系：

超越：better than 优于，胜于   more than 多余，超过     superior to 占优势，比…胜一筹

相等：as…as…如…一样…      the same as…  像…一样… no sooner…than...一…就…  

      no more than 就像…一样（不多于/不优于） no less than 就像（不次于）

差逊：less than 少于，不到     inferior to 比…差，逊于

  2. 递增或递减式比较结构 

        more and more /increasingly/growing 越来越多

        the more…,the more…越…越… 

        less and less 越来越少

        3.  选择式比较结构 

        had better  最好…  

        would rather…than…宁愿...而不愿; 与其…, 不如…

       4.  最高级：the + adj.最高级+n.

    最…之一：one of the + adj.最高级+ n.(复)

    第几（长、大、远）：the + 序数词 + adj.最高级 + n.(单) + in短语
