教学目标 知识与技能:

1. The teacher try to improve the students’ listening comprehension and oral English.

2. Students will learn the descriptions of people with the adjectives in the box.

教学过程 主要教学内容

准备阶段 预习导航 The useful expressions and phrases in Unit one.


情境导入 How do you get on with your parents?

How do you get along with your desk mate, roommates, and classmates? 

探究阶段 探索新知 Step1. Lead-in 

      1. Analyze some new words and expressions in the book.

      2. Check the answers to the preview exercises in the learning paper.

      3. Finish the warm-up exercises in the book.

Step2.While -learning Part A

     1.Scan the questions about the Listening Part A.

     2. Listen to the conversation and circle what Jim is upset about?

     3. Listen to the dialogue again and tick which is true about Jim.

     4. Listen again and fill in the blanks.

     5. Listen for more times if necessary.

     6. Analyze some phrases and language in this dialogue.

     Eg. 

     (1) have a problem with sb. 

     (2) Be similar to 

     (3) Come through  

     (4) Leave his dirty dishes in the sink

     (5) It was because ...

     (6) Be in a mess

Step3. While -learning Part B

     1. Work in individual to finish the Exercise 5 in the book.

     2. Listen to the tape to check the answer.

     3. Work in pairs to analyze some phrases and languages in the dialogue.

      Eg. 

      (1)talk behind one’s back

      (2) The same thing happen to me.

      (3) tell all sorts of lies about sb.

      (4) yell at sb.

      (5) How could she do that to you? 

      (6) That must be hard on you.

Step4. Post learning  

    Work with a partner. Role- play the following situations. Use the conversation strategy In Activity 5.



巩固练习 Finish all the exercises on the WB.
