Learning Objectives

In this chapter, you will learn the reading knowledge of quantitative research papers. This is divided into three aspects:

Knowledge needs to command

• To grasp some reading skills when reading English literature

• To follow a general sequence when reading English literature

Knowledge needs to understand

•  To understand quantitative research knowledge in recruiting participants, data collection by using a questionnaire, quantitative data analysis, presenting the result

Applying the learned knowledge

• Use the learned knowledge to read through some quantitative papers, such as those using questionnaire designs

• Broaden your knowledge by paying attention the study points in the literature and referring to the knowledge you have learned
