  10. Explore a patent serach engine that is available on the Internet. By using a keyword search for a subject or an inventor's name, find a patent related to mechanical engineering that seems interesting to you. Prepare a one-page description of the patent's application area and its new technology. Explain how you found this patent's application area and its new technology. Explain how you found this patent, and why you think it is interesting. Submit the cover page of the patent and the text of the first claim. The write-up should be prepared on a word processor.
