6.9 Syllables 音节

要点：

1. 什么是音节

英语单词在发音的时候，不是所有字母逐一发音，而是几个字母拼起来发音，因此英语单词叫作“拼音文字”。

几个拼起来发音的字母叫一个音节，音节是读音的基本单位。

2. 划分音节的方法

元音字母是构成音节的主体，辅音字母是音节的分界线。两辅音之间不管有多少个元音，一般都是一个音节。

两元音字母之间有一个辅音字母时，辅音字母归后一音节。

有两个辅音字母时，一个辅音字母归前一音节，一个归后一音节。

不能拆分的字母组合按字母组合划分音节。

3. 单音节、双音节与多音节

一个音节叫单音节；

两个音节叫双音节；

三个音节以上叫多音节。

4. 开音节与闭音节

以元音结尾的音节称为开音节。

以辅音结尾的音节称为闭音节。
