1.      贺卡的内容与格式

贺卡的主要内容包括：收卡人姓名、祝福语、写贺卡人姓名

贺卡的格式：第一部分收卡人，第二部分正文，第三部分署名。

  2.       制作贺卡的常用句式

圣诞贺卡和新年贺卡上通常印有祝词。这些祝词一般都已程式化。人们可视情况加些祝福的话或其他内容，如“A Merry Christmas and aVery Happy New Year!” “With Every Good Wish for Christmas and the New Year!”。抬头写对方的名字，如 To John。最后写寄卡人的名字，如From Mary。To 与 From 可以省略。

圣诞贺卡和新年贺卡上的祝词在语言上有以下特点：

（1）句首第一个字母大写，句中Christmas 和New Year 的首字母均须大写。

（2）通常用省略句型，如“ Sending you wishes for a beautiful Christmas and a New Year filled with happiness!”的句首省略了 I am。

（3）两个名词短语以and 连接成并列结构，如 “Season’s Greetings and Best Wishes for the Coming Year!”。

（4）常为介词短语结构，如 “With warm wishes for everyhappiness throughout the season and in the New Year!”。

（5）也有分词短语结构，如“ Wishing you the manyblessings of a Joyous

Christmas and a Happy NewYear”。
