PLAT342_ALERT_3_B Low Bond Precision on C-C Bonds 0.02033 Ang.
Author response: Bond precisiondepends on following factors: 1) data parameter ratio; 2) the inverse of thenormal matrix of least square; 3) the residual between observed and calculatedintensities; 4) the accuracy of the cell constants.
In this case, thealert is mainly caused by the third factor. The observed intensities might stillbe affected by both extremely strong absorbers (mu = 31 mm-1) and small needle-shapedsample (0.01 x 0.02 x 0.10 mm3), though the numerical and empiricalabsorption correction were applied; crystal structure model affected by high thermalvibration might induce a low precision of C-C bond lengths, for the data wascollected at room temperature.
