课程标准


Assessment 01: App Design

You will be working as a group of three, which you will carry out your research together as a team, this will allow you to work together to identify the target audience, market position and Identity for the product together. Then you will need to create a prototype app for a specific workout/exercise. You will need to associate with a local china sport brand, then create a App name and logo (may be) as well as brand guidelines from the Sport brand as reference. Research and analyse a range of existing relevant apps and include a variety of contextual research from multiple sources with in-depth critical analysis. Your research must be ongoing and reflected in your final app design.

Identify your target audience and create user personas and stories. Consider a range of ideas and define a creative direction for your project. Sketch your UI ideas based on your research, user personas, stories, and creative direction. Next, create a wireframe and test your idea using a paper prototype. Once you have refined your paper prototype develop a digital prototype and refine through a process of user testing. Finally, export your assets for development. You need to document your entire working process including your creative direction, sketches, digital concepts, testing, refinements and critiques with in-depth critical reflection and justification for all your design decisions.

Technical Requirements:

  1. Minimum 14 pages (7 pages for Android 7 pages for iOS)

  2. You will need to have a home screen and may include other screens such as;

    5. Any other page you think may add to the user experience

  3. Screen sizes:

    1. Android: 1080x2340 px (Huawei, 6.1 inch screen)

    2. iOS: 1170x2532 px (iPhone 12, 6.1 inch screen)

    3. Even though the cell phone screen resolution is 460dpi/ppi, please keep your design at the resolution of 72dpi.

  4. RGB colour space

  5. Must select one sport only

  6. Must select a domestic/China sport brand to associate with

  7. Must find and follow the brand guidelines

 Submission:

  1. Group workbook documenting all your working process, reflection, research and analysis as well as your digital prototype link.

  2. Final App designs in one single PDF

  3. Assets folder
