Write a problem-solution essay on a new technological advance
Scenario: In an English writing class, the professor introduced a common type of argument – the problem-solution argument. He lectured about how to pose a problem and propose a workable solution. After that, he discussed how to structure a problem-solution essay with some examples. To practice this type of writing, the professor plans to organize a writing competition which requires participants to write an essay on a recent technological advance, identifying and analyzing its potential problems and offering solutions.
