Background information about The Guinness Book of World Records《吉尼斯世界纪录》:

The Guinness Book of World Records is the ultimate authority on record-breaking achievements. It provides information about superlative最高的 facts and feats技艺, as well as the process of application for all those who wish to break a Guinness World Record. 

It is a reference参考 book published annually, containing an internationally recognized collection of world records, both in terms of human achievements and the extremes of the natural world. 

The book itself holds a world record, as the best-selling copyrighted有版权的 series. By  2005, more than 100 million copies had been sold. The book was first bound on 27 August 1955, and is now produced in 23 languages and sold in over 100 countries.
