Are you going to the show?
A: Hi, Danny. Are you going to the show?
B: Show? What show?
A: It's at the stadium. The Police are on a tour!
B: Really?
A: Yeah. You know I'm their number one fan.
B: Wow, that must be exciting!
A: Are you interested?
B: Of course. But I don't have a ticket.
A: I bought two. One is for me and the other is for Mark. However, Mark just told me that he won't be able to come. If you want, you can have his ticket.
B: Great. What time?
A: 8:00 p.m.
B: OK. Meet you at the entrance at 7:30 p.m.
A: Great. See you.
B: See you.

Dialogue 2:
Inviting someone for a recreational activity
A: Hello.
B: Hello, Mary, it’s me, Grace.
A: Hi, Grace. What’s up?
B: I sent you an email last night for a pool party at 5:00 p.m. this Friday. Have you got it yet?
A: I haven’t checked my email yet. What’s a pool party?
B: Well, the main action of the pool party involves swimming, and any other entertainment which involves a swimming pool, such as water polo. We’ll also have a barbecue.
A: Sounds great. You mean this coming Friday?
B: Yes, can you make it?
A: No. My sister will be visiting us Friday night.
B: Rebecca?
A: Yes.
B: Wow, I haven’t seen her for ages. Bring her along. I’m sure she will enjoy the party.
A: Great! I will call her right away, and let you know as soon as possible.
B: OK. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Dialogue 3:
Asking for a suggestion about camping
A: Hi, Jason. I’m planning a holiday and I’m thinking about going camping. Is this a good idea?
B: Yes.I went on a camping trip about 10 years ago. I just loved it. I found it to be safe, clean, and well-priced. It is much cheaper to camp in the camping ground instead of sleeping in roofed accommodation.
A: Great! That’s what I’m thinking of. Do you have any suggestions?
B: There’s one suggestion: try to stay more in tourist or holiday parks rather than caravan parks.
A: Thanks. Is it necessary to reserve the campgrounds in advance?
B: Of course. Some parks are very popular during the summer season. You’d better reserve the campgrounds as soon as possible.
A: Really? But I heard that some national parks had some first-come, first-served campgrounds.
B: Yes, they do. However, even the first-come, first-served campgrounds will often be crowded by noon from May through September.
A: Thank you very much for your suggestion.
