Receptionist: Good morning.

Guest: Good morning. I’d like to have a room, please.

Receptionist: Fine, what kind of room would you like?

Guest: A single room ensuite, please. Oh, with a king-size bed.

Receptionist: I’ll check if we have a room available. Yes, we have. Your name, please.

Guest: It’s Gareth Warren. That’s G-A-R-E-T-H, W-A-R-R-E-N.

Receptionist: OK, I’ve got it, and your nationality?

Guest: German.

Receptionist: How long will you be staying?

Guest: Three nights, from July 1st to July 3rd.

Receptionist: So that’s a single room for three nights.

Guest: Yes,can you tell me the price?

Receptionist: It’s $85 per night, breakfast included.

Guest: Well, that’s all right.

Receptionist: How will you be paying, Mr. Warren?

Guest: With my credit card.

Receptionist: OK, thank you. Here’s your room key and your room number is 207, on the second floor.

Guest: Thanks.

Dialogue 2:

A: Good morning. What can I do for you, sir?

B: I’ve booked a double room four days ago. My name is Wang Li.

A: Just a moment, please. I’ll check our reservation records. Yes, you have reserved a double room from today to April 5th.

B: Yes,exactly.

A: Can I see your ID, please?

B: Yes, here you are.

A: Thanks. And please fill in the registration form.

B: All right.

A: And you have to pay a deposit of  200 dollars. It will be taken out of your expenses when you check out.

B: Sure. Here’s your money.

A: Thank you. Here’s the key to Room 126. The bellboy will show you up.

B: OK. Thanks.
