Yourschool newspaper is running a forum for discussion and has invitedcontributions to discuss this topic. You are going to write an essay sharingyour understanding. You will be able to complete the task after studying thisunit.
1. Understanding the texts.
(1) Read the text in iExplore 1, andanswer the following questions:

2. Building your language.
(1) Enrich your Word bank by making your list of the words andexpressions that are related to the concepts of failure and success. You can scanthe QR code on page 121 and page 127 and make your list. You can also make yourlist longer by adding more words and expressions you learn through otherreferences.
(2) Scan the QR code on page 121 to learn about the gerund.
(3) Complete the exercises on pages 119-121 and pages 126-127.
3. Sharpening your skills.
(1) Learn to guess word meaning with the help of context.
(2) Scan the QR code on page 127 to learn about the translation skill — translating the passive voices. Then do the translationexercises on page 127.
