People in Thailand celebrate their own New Year in a unique way. They splash water on each other. Sometimes they even use water guns! In this way, people share good wishes with each other. They all get very wet, but everyone enjoys it!

When people talk about Brazil, they think of Carnival. Carnival takes place in February. People put on fancy clothes, singing and dancing happily in the streets. Carnival is just like a huge street party with lots of music and dancing.

The German people are great beer drinkers. Each year they have several beer festivals. During these festivals, people hold up big mugs of beer, drinking, singing and dancing. Some of these festivals may even last for over two weeks.
