The Importance of Building Trust Between Teachers and Students
A good relationship between teachers and students can have a major influence on the development of students, and trust is crucial and indispensable in maintaining this good relationship.
To begin with, only when students believe in their teachers are they willing to turn to the teachers for guidance and support. Secondly, teachers who have the full trust in their students are more motivated to help the students improve the learning awareness and initiative, which in turn will benefit the students most. However, the trust between teachers and students can not be built in one day. To achieve the mutual trust, on the one hand, teachers should comprehend the students’ real demands and problems, and offer them sincere and timely help; on the other hand, students should give more understanding and respect to their teachers.
