 A. What is pediatric dentistry?

        Pediatric Dentistry is an age-defined specialty that provides both primary and comprehensive, preventive and therapeutic oral health care for infants,children and adolescents, including those with special health care needs (SHPN).

  B. Disciplines that pediatric dentistry needs as an age-specific specialty

     By being an age-specific specialty, pediatric dentistry needs disciplines such as  behavior guidance for child, supervision of orofacial growth and development, caries prevention, sedation, and other traditional fields of dentistry.
