Discuss Competitive Advantages

For Your Information: Competitive advantage

Although the term competitive advantage is more commonly used in the business world, athletes also take many steps to give themselves an advantage over their opponents. They may practice mental techniques like meditation, relaxation exercises, and visualizing themselves playing perfectly. They often eat special diets and take vitamins and other supplements to improve their performance. And some athletes are very superstitious—they believe, for example, that wearing their “lucky socks” or repeating a phrase to themselves will help them play better. There are also things that athletes do to gain a competitive advantage that are against the rules or even illegal, such as using unauthorized equipment or taking illegal drugs.
