When making this decision, students often take into account a variety of factors, including their career plans, financial status, and personal preferences. If the choice is between finding a job and pursuing postgraduate study, I prefer going to a graduate school to continue my education for the following reasons
To begin with, my future career as a doctor requires my completion of the education in a graduate school to learn more solid and profound knowledge and to develop useful professional skills. It will serve as a stepping stone in my future job hunting since candidates with higher degrees are more competitive in the labour market. Besides, parents’ support and school scholarships will free me from any financial strain. There will be little worry of three additional year’s tuition fees or extra expenses. What’s more, I always find the academic atmosphere in school appealing and relations with teachers and classmates warm to affirm my decision.
As the famous saying goes: "Slow down to speed up." That is to say, further study may slow us down when entering the job market, but it does speed us up on our way to success!
