vt. 教；教导，训练；教授   vi. 教书
常见搭配：teach sb. to do sth.  教训某人别做某事
e.g. When I catch that boy, I'll teach him to tell lies to me.
要是我抓到那个小孩, 我要好好治治他, 看他还敢不敢对我撒谎。
e.g. That'll teach you.  这就是给你的教训; 这下你可学乖了。

n. 上帝，造物主    vt. 膜拜；崇拜
常见搭配：
blind god (=god of love)  爱神          By(my) God !  的的确确!

e.g. He that serves God for money will serve the devil for better wages.

A mother was teaching her ５-year-old son about God.

“Do you know, ”she said to him one day,“that God knows where everybody is 

all the time, and exactly what they are doing. ”

The little boy looked at his mother wide-eyed and said,

“Wow. He must have a computer.”
