metaphor:  A word or a phrase that ordinarily designates one thing is used to designate another, thus making an implicit comparison.


Parallelism:  a figure of speech that use similar structures in separate sentences to express related ideas and with which the sentence is  emphatic and forceful. (By words, by phrases, by clauses, by sentences-排比)
