I.
Arrangement
1. Leave a margin on each side of thepaper — about 2centimeters at the top and 37.5px at the left, the right and thebottom.
2. In an exercise book the top andthe bottom margins are already there,so you need only to draw a vertical line to mark the left margin.
3.You can’t make the right margin very straight, but youmust not write to the edge of the paper. When there is not enough space left for aword, write it on the next line if it can’t be divided.there must be some blank space on the right side of thepaper.

Title writing rules:
1.Write the title in the middle of the first line.
2. Capitalize the firstand last words of the title andall other words (including words following hyphens in compound words) exceptarticles, coordinating conjunctions (and, or, but, nor, for), shortprepositions and the toin infinitives.
3. No period is used at the end of a title.
•4. Use a question mark if the title is a direct question, but do not use one if it is an indirect question.

Lines
1.Indentthe first line of every paragraph, leaving a space of about four or five letters.
2. For paging use Arabic numerals without parenthesesor periods in the upper right-hand corner of all pages. The first page need notbe marked
3. Do not begin a line with punctuation ( , . ; :?!);
Do not end a linewith [ “(
The hyphenthat indicates a divided word is put at the end, not at the beginning of aline.
Punctuation
1. Period (full stop) (.):at the end of a complete sentence.
e.g.Every student should learn to be polite.
2. Comma(,): apause within a sentence.
e.g.When he came, I was cleaning the room.
3. Colon(:): to introduce an explanation, a summary, or an appositive.
e.g.She showed me the books: two novles and a book on English literature.
4. Semicolon(;): betweentwo coordinate clauses not linked by a conjunction (and,but, or...).
e.g. No one is born wiht knowledge; knowledge must be taught and learned.
5. Question mark(?):aftera direct quetion
e.g. Did you study English at your college?
6. Exclamation mark(!):after an exclamatory sentence.
e.g. What a nice day!
7. Quotation marks(" ") (' '):
Double quotation marks are used to enclosedirect quotations ;single quotation marks are used to enclose a quotationwithin a quotation;
e.g."Shall I turn off the radio?" he asked his mother.
" What do you mean by 'evolutionarymechanism'?" he asked.
