Tell something about sports in the free time

四、教学过程:

Step1. Free talk

 Teachers talk with the students and help them finish Warm-up.

Step2. Listening A

1. Before listening to the dialogue, ask students to guess the answer.

2. Listen to the dialogue and check the answer.

3. Listen again and underline the conversations about sports

Step3. Practice

1. Ask Ss to make up their dialogues with useful expressions.

2. Invite some pairs to present their dialogues to the class.

3. Complete the conversations on Page 76.

Step4. Listening B

1. Learn some words by pictures.

2. Listen and choose the best answers.

3. Listen again and do the match.

4. Practice Youd better/Why not/You can.

Step5. Extension

1. Help the students work out the list of break-time activities.

2. Important points: alone, lonely/ boring, bored/ hardly, hardly...when...(no sooner...than...)/ sound/ stay in shape/ Why not do...(seven kinds of expression)/ a pair of/ I wonder if you can teach me.

Step6. Summary

Sum up the important words and phrases.
