教学目标 知识与技能:

Let students learn to use English to express yourself in workplace. and master the key language points appeared in the text.

过程与方法: 

Using the method of scanning, skimming and careful reading to learn the passage.


情感、态度和价值观:

Ss will find what “your” job is.

教学重点 1. Enable Ss to retell the main idea of the passage and translate some important sentences by themselves.

2. Key points:   

 get into the habit of  tend to do expect to be treated as such be vital to react to    

教学难点 1.Try to the main idea of this text.

2.Students can retell the main idea in English by using their own words.

教法 情境教学法(Situational Teaching Method)

学法 Learning through cooperating and remembering.

教学过程 主要教学内容

准备阶段 预习导航 Ask students to review the health and safety rules.

情境导入 Read the passage and find what “your” job is.

探究阶段 探索新知 .Step one : Greetings with each other to make Ss get ready for the class.

Step two: Revision

        Review what we have learnt in last class by asking them read the dialogue on page 35..

Step three: Learning the new part ---reading and writing.

   Ⅰ Reading the text by themselves. Then underline  

some sentences and words they don’t understand.

   Ⅱ Reading again and try to finish task 2,3, 4,5 by 

themselves.

   Ⅲ Then the teacher check the answer and correct

their wrong ones.

   Ⅳ The teacher ask the students to express the main 

idea of the text by using their own words.

 1. You know for yourself that tend to go back to those shops where you receive friendly, efficiently service and avoid those where you don’t .

  译:你知道对于你自己来说,你往往会再次光临那些服务又好又有效率的商店,而回避那些服务又差,又没有效率的商店。

2. It’s you the customers see and talk to , it’s you they expect to serve them efficiently and politely.

译:顾客看到的,他们是和你说话,他们希望你能高效而又有礼貌的为他们服务。

3. You will realize that dealing with customers is a major part of your job.

译:你将会意识到与顾客打交道是你工作中的一个主要方面。

4. People give away a lot about what they are thinking in the way they look and behave.

   译:人们通过他们的观看和行为方式,发出了很多信号,表达他们的想法。

5.Try to get into the habit of looking out for these signs and reacting accordingly.

  译:努力养成留心信号并作出相应反映的习惯。


Step four:  Give Ss some time to consolidate what we have in this class by themselves and try to finish some exercises in class.
