By 2020, Chinese millennials are expected to reach 300 million strong. They aremembers of a truly unique generation. They are living in a period of stability, and have witnessed the rapid development of China that their economical grandparents might have never imagined. Unlike American millennials, Chinese millennials do not have the burden of student debts. Having grown up as the only child of their family, they went to college with their parents' support. Many Chinese households own their homes, and many of these homes are owned without mortgages. Chinese millennials are not all wealthy, but they do find many luxuries affordable now. That is why Chinese millennials are spenders.
