Conversation 1:Talking about usual practice of Insurance (Requirement:Interpret the dialogue into Chinese)

A:The buyer        B: The seller

A:Your quotation is on CIF basis. How do you cover insurance? 

B:  We always insure our goods with the People’sInsurance Company of China asper theirOcean Marine Cargo Clauses.  

A:I have to say that I know very little about that. Could you be more specific? 

B:OK. The Ocean Marine Cargo Clauses provide coverage of three basic risks, someadditional risks and some special additional risks. The three basic risks areFree from Particular Average, With Particular Average and All Risks. 

A:What do they mean respectively?

B:Well, roughly speaking, F.P.A. covers totallosses resultingfrom both naturalcalamities and accidents, and partial lossescaused by accidents. 

A:What about W.P.A.? 

B:W.P.A. has a broad coverage. It covers everything in F.P.A plus partial lossescaused by natural calamities. 

A:And All Risks?

B:All Risks provides wider coverage than FPA and WPA. 

A:I see. Now, for this particular article, what risks do you usually cover?

B:We usually insure the goods against All Risks for 110% of the invoice value. 

A:Does All Risks include War Risk? 

B:No. War Risk is special additional risk, and it has to be arranged separately. 

A:But judging from the recent situation in the Middle East, I think War Riskshould be covered. 

B:We can certainly do this, but it is subject to an additional premium, becauseour CIF quotation doesn’t include this risk. 

A:Additional premium? That’s not a problem. There’s no harm in doing things onthe safe side.

B:Then we will cover War Risk for you. 

A:Good.

Conversation 2:Talking about premium (Requirement:Interpret the dialogue into Chinese)

A:the seller     B: the buyer

A:In terms of CIF, we would cover W.A. on your behalf. Do you have any specificrequirements?  

B: Could you tell me if W.A. coverage includes compensation for breakage of thegoods? 

A:The compensation for breakage is covered in the insurance of additional risks,that is Risk of breakage. If you need, we can cover that, but the extra premiumshould be for buyer’s account. 

B: I see. Then what about insurance for All Risks? 

A:Insurance against All Risks can also be covered at the buyer’s request. But thepremium will be relatively higher. 

B: It doesn’t matter. What we want to have most is the safety of goods. 

A:OK, we’ll arrange to cover the goods against All Risks.
