B:OK. As an experienced exporter as you are, what do you usually do to packelectronic products, I wonder?

A:As for the electronic products, such as computers, we usually pack each set ofthem in a polythenewrapper. 

B:What about the outer packing? It’s also important. 

A:We usually use a specialcorrugated cardboard box with stenciled shipping marks asouter packing. 

B:I’m afraid the cardboard boxes are not strong enough for such product. 

A:Such cardboard boxes are very strong and we also reinforce them with nylon straps. 

B:You are probably right. But if these goods are to be transshipped duringtransit, don’t you think dampness or rain might spoil the goods?

A:Oh, don’t worry about it. Besides being packed in polythene wrapper, each box is lined with waterproof material, which serves as the protective outer packing.

B:But will the cardboard boxes be strong enough for long-distance oceantransportation? 

A:Of course, they will. We recommend you the cardboard boxes because we thinkthey are good enough for such lightweight articles as computers. They arecomparatively light and easy to handle. We will have reinforcement measures tomake the articles inside safe and sound, like what I mentioned just now. 

B:Well, Mr. Li, if you can guarantee that, we would be quite willing to acceptcardboard boxes.

A:Then the problem of packing is settled.

In product packing, the interiors of carton are usually lined with waterproof material to prevent waterdrop from penetrating into the cardboard boxes, just like the picture below.

A:These are the various kinds of packing for pliers. Normally, we have threetypes of packing: skinpacking, hangingpacking, and blister packing.

B: Oh, the packing looks very nice.

A: The skin packing is the most advanced packing for this product in the worldmarket. It catches the eyes and can help push sales.

B: Good, what about the export packing?

A: Well, they are packed in boxes of two dozens each, 100 boxes to a woodencase.

B: Is the wooden case strong enough for transportation? You see, 100 boxes ofpliers are very heavy. It's about 2,400 kilograms.

A: You can rest assured of that. So far, no customers have complained about ourouter packing.
