Warming   up

 
 

I. Give  the students time to look at the picture at the first page of Unit 4 and  discuss the following questions:

 

1. Where  are the students?

 

2. What  are they doing?

 

3. Are  they happy?

 

II. Ask  the students to listen to the recorder and match the pictures with the words  in the box.

 

III. Ask  the students some questions:

 

1. How  many hours do you study in the classroom every day?

 

2. Do  you have PE class?

 

3. Do  you go to workshops or factories to learn practical skills?

 

IV. Then  ask the students to listen to a dialogue and match the expressions with the  pictures.

I. Tell  the students they are going to listen to a dialogue about Lin Weis school  life. Teach them how to use the words and expressions in the box.
