课程介绍
《化工专业英语》是化学工程与工艺专业的一门专业基础限选课。化工专业英语是社会对人才的素质要求。对于化工专业学生，不仅要掌握化工专业知识和技能，而且要掌握化工专业英语，才能满足大中型化工企业的要求。化工专业英语使学生通过对化工基础知识、化工操作单元（包括流体流动、流体输送设备、传热、多级分离过程及其选择等）、化工设备、石油炼制、化工热力学等方面英文原作的介绍与学习，让学生掌握化学化工词汇的构词规律，掌握专业英语的特点和学习方法，掌握专业英语的翻译和写作。使学生在今后的生产实践中能够借助词典阅读专业的先进技术、信息，提高学生的阅读英文和和翻译英文的能力，并为进一步提高专业英语水平奠定基础。
