本课程是通信类专业的核心课程，主要培养学生掌握数据网络设备互联技术。本课程按照企事业单位一般组网的过程，以校园网建设项目为例，按照建设工程需求进行子项目分解，构建十个教学项目。本课程采用模拟器，将理论教学与工程实践教学紧密结合，主要包括：局域网组建、局域网间互联、网络安全技术等。通过本课程学习，学生具备对城市骨干网、园区企业网、校园网等网络的规划、组建及安全管理等能力。
This course is a core course for communication majors, mainly aimed at cultivating mastery of data network equipment interconnection technology. This course follows the general networking process of enterprises and institutions, taking campus network construction projects as an example. The content of courses was decomposed sub projects according to construction project requirements, and ten teaching projects were constructed. This course uses simulators to closely combine theoretical teaching with engineering practice teaching, mainly including: LAN establishment, interconnection between LANs, network security technology, etc. Through this course, students will have the ability to plan, establish, and manage the security of urban backbone networks, park enterprise networks, campus networks, and other networks.

《数据网络技术与实践》是操作性很强的课程，主要培养学生了解网络分层、服务、接口和协议概念，熟悉局域网技术，掌握以太网技术，了解广域网技术，掌握网络层协议和技术，熟悉传输层协议和技术，了解网络安全技术。
Data Network Technology and Practice is a highly operational course. It mainly cultivates the understanding of network. They include network layering, services, interfaces, and protocol concepts, familiarity with local area network technology. It also needs to master the Ethernet technology, understand the wide area network technology, master the network layer protocols and technologies, the transport layer protocols and technologies, and understand the network security technology.
在教学中，采用线上线下混合式教学方式，教学效果良好。本课程注重学生的实际动手能力，能对交换机、路由器进行日常操作与维护，能对局域网常用技术进行配置操作，能对路由器基本路由参数进行设置，能够独立完成网络组建、排障。通过网络工程建设中的各环节的设计规划、配置管理，培养学生形成规范操作、精益求精的通信工匠精神。
In teaching, a blended learning method of online and offline is adopted, and the teaching effect is good. This course focuses on practical hands-on abilities of students, including the ability to operate and maintain switches and routers daily, configure commonly used LAN technologies, set basic routing parameters for routers, and independently complete network building and troubleshooting. Through the design, planning, and configuration management of various links in network engineering construction, the course aims to cultivate communication craftsmanship spirit of standardized operation and continuous improvement.
另外，通过本课程的学习，培养学生分析问题、解决问题的工程实践能力，学生通过团队协作、交流沟通锻炼了实际工程进展中工程师所需具备的职业素养，通过学习在网络建设中遇到的专业难题、技术壁垒，激发学生网络强国的爱国情怀。
In addition, through the study of this course, the engineering practical abilities of student to analyze and solve problems are cultivated. Through teamwork, communication, and exchange, students exercise the professional qualities required for engineers in actual engineering progress. By learning about the professional difficulties and technical barriers encountered in network construction, students are inspired to have a patriotic sentiment towards building a strong network country.
