（一）中文课程简介
本课程主要介绍：概述、紧急情况下的应变部署、船舶应急反应、紧急情况的预防与控制、防止船舶污染海洋环境、船上安全作业、防止和控制疲劳、船员人际关系、船上信息交流和语言技能及相关实操教学等内容。通过该课程的学习，有助于提高船舶的基本素质和专业技能，增强船舶的社会责任感，保障水上人命和财产的安全，保护海洋环境。
（二）英文课程简介
This course mainly introduces: overview, emergency deployment, emergency response of ships, prevention and control of emergencies, prevention of marine pollution by ships, safe operation on ships, prevention and control of fatigue, crew interpersonal relationship, information exchange and language skills on ships and related practical teaching. Through the study of this course, it is helpful to improve the basic quality and professional skills of ships, strengthen the sense of social responsibility of ships, ensure the safety of life and property on water and protect the marine environment.

本课程共安排4个课时实操训练，用来训练学生将理论知识跟实践相结合，并通过理论来指导实践，同时通过实践加深对理论学习内容的认知；鼓励学生互相研讨，训练学生的总体的行动能力和临时科学决策能力。
实践内容：
1.船舶应急、应变知识和程序
2.船上安全作业方法
3.防止海洋环境污染的措施要求：
能够完成实操项目的操作、过程合理，能够体现团队合作。达到STCW公约马尼拉修正案和中华人民共和国海事局所规定的适任要求。
